M Studio

Rightfully M should stand for maiden because it was our first time as spacemates in such an intimate environment. I call it the litmus test of human tolerance. if one can last more than 24h with another, surely they can proceed in companionship
But more about the place.
Cost 210 per night incl breekkie and 2 movie tix. this was an offer through civil servant benefits
walking into the unit the first thing which strikes you is the clever use of space. what it lacks horizontally it makes up for in vertical architecture. the queen size bed was strategically placed beside the high window to create the illusion of ample space while the desk was placed above with a stairway leading up. i think neither of us spent a minute up there, well we didn't really require the desk. the shower stall was place opposite the toilet, both of which were cubicles on minimalist space, while the sink was placed outside the bathroom, thereby doubling as a general sink for washing and brushing. tea and coffee facilities above the mini fridge made for convenient accessibility.
brekkie of sumptious continental cum asian fare was served beside the picturesque setting of the swimming pool which we didn't use unfortunately but the meal more than made up for it
surrounding amenities weren't shabby either with a plethora of restaurants and kopitiams and clubbing options then of the renowned Zouk which was moving to another premises at the time of our stay so it was a sentimental visit there to see the old dame for the last time at Jiak Kim
all in a rating of 4/5 stars.
